Do you remember that we took on the One New Trick A Month Challenge in 2012? It was a lot of fun to learn new tricks throughout the year. Last year we were so busy that we couldn't repeat the challenge, but this year we are going to learn more new tricks!
This is the first one we learned this year! (Well, it took me more than two years to learn it though (^_^;) )

Mom Kim here - what a wonderful trick and such talented Beagles are Cinnamon and Mint! I''d have to keep plenty of treats handy just to keep Shiloh'n Diva Shasta alert and focused. Love watching the new tricks.

DeleteThat is an amazing trick. Patience doesn't begin to describe what went into it, but you know, you work hard and then just find the right thing to get the behavior. What fun for both of you to work on things together.

Thank you Mango Mamma! I think you are right. So, patience is a very important factor in training, isn't it? Once you find the right thing, all the effort you have put into it pays off :-) Yes, we enjoy working together!
DeleteThat is so cute!!! Good job sticking with it until you figured it out. This makes me miss clicker training with Jackal. When we finish the kitchen and things calm down a bit I'll have to start working with him again. :D
