Sneak, sneak... Is there anyone here? Ok, apparently my sis Cinnamon has gone to bed already. Hee hee, now is the chance to take over the blog!
I think most of you already know about Mango Minster, an annual prestigious doggie competition, run by our great blog friend Mango. Cinnamon has entered it before, but I haven't. So, I have decided to enter this year. It was hard to choose a category to enter, in deed. But, I realised that there is only one category that actually suits me - Bad Sports!!
Do you think why Bad Sports? That's because I am an athlete man, but there is a secret that I haven't told anyone. I was secretly training to be a professional doggie wrestler. I didn't tell my family about it, because I knew that they would worry about me. But, now I have become a highly skilled wrestler, so I took this opportunity to make a tutorial video to share some of my skills.
The one I am showing here is the part one of a series of "Mint the Beagle's Introductory Wrestling Tutorial". In fact, this video is my entry to the Bad Sports category of Mango Minster 2012. Enjoy!
Just in case, here is a link to the video on YouTube.
Note: Pepper who appears in the video is a girl, but I called her 'him' in the video, because 'her' didn't sound right in this context.
For some reason, I can't load your video, but I hope hope hope it involves a wrestling costume!
ReplyDelete@Finn
ReplyDeleteOh, I am sorry you couldn't watch it. I will investigate why it didn't load for you.
Unfortunately it doesn't involve any costume, as all I could do was sneak into Mum's office, when no one was around, and quickly made the video before anyone noticed. Mum was so unhelpful that I had to do it myself!!
Mint the Beagle
That is an amazing move. I think I am going to practice it myself right now!
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Excellent moves, Mint! However, apart from the argument that all Xtreme Fighting sports are fundamentally bad sports, we didn't see any cheating or ungentlemanly like conduct on your part. Just a good, clean Xtreme wrestling match. Maybe you would be better in an "teacher dog" category; your instructional video was crisp, clean, and concise. You display outstanding teaching skills. And wrestling skills, too, of course.

Mint,
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you! Your video filled with amazing moves is a worthy entry into the Bad Sports category of the competition. My sister Judge Maggie Mae will certainly be impressed. Please stop by and introduce yourself to her, she likes beer, cheetos and cheeseburgers (and so do I), but I highly doubt that you would EVER consider sending her a bribe. ;)
Your Buddy,
Max
I used that move today and my mom made a video of it. You looked good wrestling with Pepper.
ReplyDeletelove & wags,
River
Hi Mint, it is very nice to meet you. We are studying your wrestling moves so we will know how to wrestle properly.
ReplyDeleteBeagles are the cutest! Check out my blog, www.dogblog-wetnoses.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteWe are sure you entry is amazing Mint, but unfortunately we can't watch it...it says its private *Hmmm*
ReplyDeleteGood Luck though!!
Licks and lots of slobber,

@ Lexi and Jasper
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us know. I wonder how it has changed from public to private. But, anyway I changed it back to public again. So hopefully anyone can watch it now.
Mint the Beagle
I think Cinamin and Mint are great dog names! I'm sure your vidio is great but i am a guide dog for mum so she can't watch it because there is just music. I tried to describe it to her but it was too hard. Do check my entry out though!
ReplyDeleteTake care, xxx.
Wow Mint you have some impressive skills!! And against someone twice your size. Nice!
ReplyDeleteGo Mint, those are pretty cool moves. We like the "statue" move in the middle too, just to get your opponent lulled into a false sense of security.
ReplyDeleteYou are quite the wrestler. Best of luck with the contest.
