How we spend a night in winter

This is how we spend a long wet night in winter. In this video I don't use a clicker or any food treats. Cinnamon really loves showing off what she can do.

  2. As smart as my dog is, she won't do too many tricks for no treats. That's really cool!

  3. Wow Cinnamon is doing so well!! That's what I was trying to teach Jackal and he wasn't doing so well. He gets bored or frustrated and just gets off the target item so I can't seem to get him to go in circles. Now that's we've had a break we're going to try again. Have you seen this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97a2JT_6sX4&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fpyrsheptani.blogspot.com%2F&feature=player_embedded ? That's how I'm hoping to teach him the Swing and Finish. Keep up the good work!

  4. Cookie is setting a bad example. Momma always wants me to do some sort of boring stay thing when Pee-Wee is learning his tricks, but I say NO WAY! I want to do MY tricks and get kisses from momma.

Please don't show us how Cinnamon learned that trick. Momma is looking at me funny and I fear I would look like a circus elephant doing it.

    Slobbers,
    Mango

P.S. From Momma - please DO show us how to do that trick. I think Mango would make an adorable elephant.

  6. Wow - what FANTASTIC pivoting!! I wish I could get such smooth, fast action from Honey! Well done! We have started learning that trick although we don't have a stool so I have been using the Yellow Pages (hee! hee!) and she is sort of getting the hang of it...but not with such speed or so smoothly as Cinnamon!

I think it's brilliant that you're doing training stuff with the dogs on a wet day - keeps their minds stimulated and busy and out of trouble! So much nicer than being bored on a rainy day...

I also like the way you use a release word "OK!" at the end - a lot of people forget to do that and I think a release word is so important.

ps. would LOVE to see Mango doing that trick!!

  9. Good job! You guys are well behaved, even if COokie wanted in on the action!

  10. Please don't show my mom how to make me do that! I prefer getting kisses and treats just because! Cinnamon is awfully good though!
