Today Mint turned six months old!
He still sometimes wet the floor when he is overexcited or very sleepy, but he has grown so much that, weighing just over 1 kg (2.2 pounds) less than me, he now looks almost the same size as me, who is turning three years old next week.
Today, to celebrate Mint's birthday, our humans gave us special treat that they had bought from a doggy bakery called Miss Maggies Barkery and Dog Deli.
The biscuit I ate was not only very yummy but also good for my heath, according to my humans, as it is called Sea Biscuit and contains glucosamine from krill and shrimp. The one Mint ate is called Doggie Wonton and was actually in the wonton shape!
Although it took Mint much longer to finish his biscuit, he looked really happy!!

ReplyDeleteHi Mint (and Cinnamon of course!) Happy 6mth birthday. I'm so glad that you've discovered Miss Maggies - isn't it amazing!!!!! And oh my goodness, if you ever go in with your humans you will not believe how much they feed you in free treats, Pepper just about exploded and I had to plead with them to stop treating her! hehe. Sorry I haven't commented on your blog sooner and that I still haven't sent a proper email to your human Mum, I've been sick all week (the dreaded Swine flu....) and haven't even been able to look at a computer until today, so sorry again

Happy 6 month day to Mint! I can't believe how fast he's grown!
ReplyDeleteOh - and I've tasted those cookies too! yes! Last year, before we left, I went with my human to Miss Maggie's Bakery to do a dog dancing demo and represent the Outreach Therapy Team - and I even got a cartoon picture of myself! :-) But yes, I got to taste lots of yummy cookies - my favourite were the teddy-bear shaped ones!
